Howie Green
A native of Western New York State and currently based in Boston, MA, Howie Green is an award winning designer, painter and sketcher who first came to international attention with the publication of his book Jazz Fish Zen: Adventures in Mamboland. His art has appeared in over 45 solo and group shows and he has created over 100 public and private murals and public art projects including numerous Pop Art public utility boxes in different cities. His diverse portfolio even includes a portrait he painted of rapper Biggie Smalls for the cover of his “Unbelievable” album In addition, Howie is an active plain-air painter, urban sketcher, a toy junkie & creator of hundreds custom art toys for private commissions.
