Nene began her professional career as a watercolorist in 1994. She was soon approached by Wizards of the Coast and hired to contribute work to the collectible card game “Magic: The Gathering”. Several years later, she branched out on her own as a print artist, experimenting with digital art and painting only the things she wanted to paint. She finds inspiration for from a variety of sources, but the vast majority comes from a story she has been working on since high school. “The Zarryiostrom”, her most intensely personal project, is an epic fantasy series that she tricked her poor, unwitting husband, Steven Plagman, into writing. All told, there will be nine books in the series, each containing 20 paintings by Nene.

I am almost done with this kit and I am thoroughly impressed with the beauty of this rendering. The colors are amazing and I love that there is a good amount of confetti. More than I thought there would be! This kit is an A+!

I bought this last yesr and it sat in my stash. I didn’t want to do it because it was too dark. I thought of getting rid of it, but for an event, I needed a fall themed piece.
I love it. Except the hands. They look like bananas. But the confetti is surprising, and fun to do.
It comes out beautiful. And the painting really is interesting.
Again. Except for the hands.
Another one my husband hasn’t got to yet, hopefully he’ll be working on it soon he’s currently working on 2 DACS. The canvas and colors of the diamonds are gorgeous this is going to be another absolutely stunning DP.
