I am a huge fan of Abraham Hunter and this picture was a true pleasure to paint. The detail on the Lion and the detail in the eye gives it so much soul and presence. It has found its forever place on my wall for sure!

I absolutely love him! The soulful look in his eyes spoke to me the first time I saw it. Even though the canvas is primarily blues and browns, there is enough variety in color to hold interest. A picture never truly captures the sparkle. He is off to be framed tomorrow.
