Born in 1974, in Kiev, Ukraine, Mr. Levin immigrated to Israel where he entered the industrial and web design program in Tel Aviv and studied for 10 years with Professor Baruch Elron, Chairman of Israel Artist Association. He has shown at exhibitions across the globe and is currently working on themes around Jewish heritage, Tel Aviv, and Venice through the mask. One of his favorite and most utilized techniques is a 16th century, multi-layering technique using tempera and oil without using brush strokes.

I loved the colors in this piece of art. However the process was very frustrating because several of the drills came stuck together and I had to crush them to break apart.

I started on the diamond art journey last August. This was my first large project. Made it for my daughter and son-in-law, the latter who lived in Jerusalem for many years. Just got it back from the framers and very happy with the way it came out. Now working on Balloons Over the Bay. I’m so hooked
