After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

Beautiful canvas, I love this author, she is wonderful. Easy to make because of the number of colors it has. The result is incredible. The quality is very good. I love DAC canvases.
This whimsical painting will be perfect for my nephew’s newborn. Currently my work in progress and enjoying every minute of it.
