I purchased this when it was offered pre-framed. The pre-framed version was somewhat difficult to work with. The framing made the canvas flex when placing drills. This style of pre-framing needs a little reworking. Nevertheless, the finished product is beautiful! The night sky and stars pop and shimmer. Working this project gave me the serenity and peace I needed after my faithful mutt-monster crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. I highly recommend this painting - especially now that it is offered as a flat canvas. You will not be disappointed
