This was a really amazing canvas to finish. The ABs were stunning! I really liked the mauve one in particular, 112. It was so beautiful to work with!!! Ivy’s art works really well with DAC’s more cartoonish rendering style. There’s lots of color-blocking and outlying, but it’s not too harsh in this one. This was my first DAC square and mystery canvas. The drills are the best squares I’ve worked with, the only issues I had were gapping in the darker shades of blue and black and misshapen shapes. The white background (which can’t be helped on a mystery canvas) definitely makes those gaps visible, but it’s not bad from a reasonable distance. Other than that, the drills were really a dream to work with and I was comfortable enough to multi-place. I will say if you’re already a slow worker, the mystery aspect can make it even slower. I tend to work by seeing the colors and everything being black and white made me go cross-eyed at points. Slow and steady wins the race and it was definitely worth it!!!
