With a love for roaming through the fields and forests of Ohio as a child, Solomon specializes in nature-centered art. However, her original training in gouache illustration was at an airbrush movie poster studio in Hollywood in the 70’s. From there, she began illustrating science and reading textbooks, and broadened into advertising and publishing clients. Now, she generally works in Photoshop, in a technique that retains her hand-drawn style.
