After graduating from the School of Visual Arts, Rose Mary freelanced in advertising, editorial and design before turning to children’s books illustration. Her two dogs--a Scottie and a Westie--inspire her to bring a sense of humor and tradition to her pieces, with smiling Santas, sweet animals and vintage-like palettes. Rose Mary resides in NY with her husband, and enjoys the seasons and shoping at flea markets for items to restore, or use as props in her art.
