Born and raised in Chicago, Marjorie is an alumna of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and holds a BFA from Eastern Michigan University. Her illustration style evolved from her love of patterns and a lifelong passion for collecting vintage, illustrated books. Another bright and colorful picture from Marjorie Sarnat. I completed her Luna cat picture and just knew I had to do this companion piece Kindred Spirits. I absolutely love these cat kits, the colors and renderings are great. Such a pleasure to work on. Next is her third one Trio, 3 cats, can’t wait. Lastly this was my first square project and final result is so much shimmer and sparkle.

One of my favorites. Worked somewhat later on this from my stash because I dreaded the darker colors but was no problem during painting.. I really like the artwork and the rendering is certainly splendid. I had more than enough drills, no complaint but also one fairy dust color which had crept in without letting itself known by its number. Was a nice surprise, haha.
