Christopher Lovell is a self-taught, Welsh artist - based in the UK - who grew up on sci-fi, cartoons, fantasy books and toys. The nostalgia of these still triggers his imagination and pours into his art. As a traditional, fantasy artist, Christopher built his career designing illustrations for bands and T-shirt companies, and is now focusing on his own personal work, creating art without limitations. His hope is to build an educational platform that will inspire like-minded artists to develop their skills and pursue their own careers in art.

At first, this canvas was intimidating since it is one of the larger canvases I have worked on. It overall ended up being really satisfying to work on and was definitely worth all the time that was put into it. Lots of color blocking for sure. I also really enjoy that it glows.

At first look this is a basic and simple picture. As it comes to life the intricacies come out, and who couldn't love the secret the glow in the dark drills reveal. Adding the glow in the dark drills adds that much more dimension to an already deep picture.
