After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I felt the diamonds were really tight on this one. Kept popping off in this painting. I’ve done over 20 DAC paintings. Still love the colors and detail.

Dakota Daetwiler is an amazing artist, and I love how Diamond Art Club renders her work. This is the first piece I have from this artist, but I have since acquired another. As always, the canvas, drill field, drills are of top quality.
