Celebrating International Women’s Day with our founder, Angie!

At Diamond Art Club, we’re proud of what we’ve built and we’re so excited that we get to share our passion with like-minded people. Through our Facebook Page and Instagram, we’ve gotten the chance to connect and get to know our customers and it’s been such a pleasure!

We wanted to give you guys a look into our world, so in honor of International Women’s Day, we got up close and personal with Diamond Art Club’s founder, Angie!

Why did you start diamond painting?

I have always been a creative person and enjoyed DIY crafts. Once I heard about diamond painting, I gave it a try and have been hooked ever since.

What was the motivation in starting Diamond Art Club?

I wasn’t satisfied with any of the diamond painting kits available on the market because there was no attention to detail. It was an enjoyable hobby and the process was fun, but the final outcome just wasn’t what I expected. So, my fiancé and I decided to take it upon ourselves to make the best kits possible. We noticed that there was room for improvement and the rest is history.

The interest in diamond painting seems to be growing a lot! Why do you think that is?

Who doesn’t enjoy a craft that makes you feel like you can’t stop working on it?! Once you start working on your painting, it’s hard to stop. It’s fun, relaxing and once you’re complete with the painting, you have a sparkly masterpiece to show for.

What is the most important thing to the DAC business?

Customer satisfaction and continuous growth are most important to us. My team & I love what we do here at DAC and we strive to always meet and exceed expectations. We work around the clock to make things happen!

Aside from diamond art painting, what do you like to do?

Working and watching DAC grow is fun! But aside from that, I enjoy working out on my free time, spending time with my friends, family and dogs. I also enjoy traveling. I always have fun no matter where I am or what I do.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?

I have always been athletic and extremely competitive. I played soccer professionally most of my life and throughout college.

How would your best friend describe you?

Loyal, creative, confident, and competitive.

Who or what inspires you?

Other than my father, I always think about the future and how I can help put a smile on people’s face. That keeps me going.

What has surprised you the most about starting a business?

How attached I would get to DAC’s customers. The diamond painting community is a small family and I make it a priority to try to make everyone happy.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t. Do what makes you happy.

What’s next for Diamond Art Club?

There’s always something special cooking here at DAC, stay tuned!
