Beautiful image but anxious about quality

It seems that this kit did not have the normal level of stickiness to the adhesive. I am very nervous about how well it will hold up as it is a gift. The image is wonderful and so far the drills are quality and it has been a nice experience working on this kit so far other than the adhesive concerns
