Born in Munich, Germany, Mr. Leonhard's earliest memories are of beautifully illustrated books by German artist, Fritz Baumgarten. On the flip side, however, Mr. Leonhard was raised in the United States on many styles of comic books. This interest, almost inevitably, this led him to a career as an artist and illustrator. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, son, two horses, four cats and a plethora of chickens.

This one was fabulous to compete. To me it had a wonderful balance of confetti and color blocking. My husband placed dibs on this finished piece, and I was happy to complete it for him. The fairy dust diamonds are amazing.
