Rafael began studying drawing at a young age at the Medellín Museum of Art in Colombia, winning a regional painting competition at age 12. He later studied advertising at the Instituto de Artes de Medellín, learned the technique of airbrushing and ventured into the digital and 3D world, specializing in creating art for puzzles and collectibles.
