This was originally purchased from the DAC Amazon store. I started in August’23 and finished over a weekend in May’24. So, it took me less than a year! This is easily a weekend project. I love the use of a mix of AB and regular drills in the ewe’s fleece. I will frame her for my craft/knitting room.

I got this kit as a free add on gift. I hadn't tried any rounds, and when it arrived, I kitted it up immediatly, and set to work on it. It was very fast, and fun. Turns out rounds aren't nearly as terrifying as I had built them up in my head. I kept the piece covered to keep out any fur, dust, or dander, but wasn't completely successful. The shimmer from the drills is fun to play with. I can now understand why rounds are so much faster then squares! I think, now that I am brave enough, when I pull out the few round canvases in my stash, that I will get a ruler to help me keep the rows straight.
The reason for my 4 star instead of 5: Some areas of the canvas felt like they were drowned in glue, while a few others, I had to press super hard on the drills and hope that they would stick. The second issue was the smell! The smell coming from the glue was horrific and headache inducing!
In all this kit was a great introduction to rounds, and has helped assuage my fear. I am looking forward to doing more rounds. Hopefully they won't have such an overpowering stench to them though!

This kit is so cute! I bought mine off DAC Amazon but it went real fast and is really cute considering the size. Quality was great as always!
