I love the sepia tones in this painting. They really give the impression of an old dragon that's living there for a long time. The colours are amazing as well as the quality of the kit. I can't wait to start working on it!

Christopher Lovell is a self-taught, Welsh artist - based in the UK - who grew up on sci-fi, cartoons, fantasy books and toys. The nostalgia of these still triggers his imagination and pours into his art. As a traditional, fantasy artist, Christopher built his career designing illustrations for bands and T-shirt companies, and is now focusing on his own personal work, creating art without limitations. I ran out of one colour because there were sooo many trash drills with holes in it.
Other than that, he is beautiful. Majestic creature!
My first DAC kit and I could not be more impressed. The drills are super shiny and uniform, which is lacking on lower quality kits with different sized drills. The image is insanely cool and the sepia tone makes it look like it is a page ripped out of some ancient tome or book about some deadly dragon. The drills shimmer like snake skin as your view moves. And the two AB’s put that last little touch to an amazing kit.
