Nene began her professional career as a watercolorist in 1994. She was soon approached by Wizards of the Coast and hired to contribute work to the collectible card game “Magic: The Gathering”. Several years later, she branched out on her own as a print artist, experimenting with digital art and painting only the things she wanted to paint. She finds inspiration for from a variety of sources, but the vast majority comes from a story she has been working on since high school. “The Zarryiostrom”, her most intensely personal project, is an epic fantasy series that she tricked her poor, unwitting husband, Steven Plagman, into writing. All told, there will be nine books in the series, each containing 20 paintings by Nene.

I thought this painting would be a pain to make because it seemed to only have white, black and various shades of gray. My mom fell in love it and asked me to buy the kit, make it and gift it to her. DAC managed to add more colors and really add dimension to this dramatic fantasy painting.

I was pleasantly surprised with this painting. I showed it to my mom and she asked me to buy and make this for her. I thought they would only use black, white, and different shades of grays but they managed to put other colors for added dimension. It was an honor to work on this and gift it to my mom

This one comes out stunning! I worried all the greys would be boring but it wasn’t and turns out beautiful. The snows is abs and sparkles like new snow. A few of the colors did have a bit of trash for some reason but as always DAC gives you more than enough extras to finish even on a large canvas like this one. I hope for more from this artist and I will definitely be hanging this beauty up!

This is a beautiful kit. The canvas is beautiful without the drills!! 🥰 The drills are perfect, the dye lots are nice and bright. The drills fit together perfectly. I definitely recommend this kit! 💜
