After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

A beautiful painting by Dakota Daetwiler. The first Diamond Art Club kit I bought was a kit by her named “Spirits”, picrured below. I love her nature and animal paintings. Once I bought from DAC and experienced the quality of their kits and their customer service/support I don’t buy from anywhere else!
This one “Waterfall Sunset” is bright and inviting to me. I also buy many landscape and animals pictures - the beautiful world God created! I am 78 and hope I live long enough to finish all the kits I have in my stash 35 so far.

At almost 100,000 square drills, this DAC kit is so beautiful that it makes it easy to keep working toward completion! A realistic waterfall, colorful flowers, and blazing sunset combine for a gorgeous "Waterfall Sunset" . While working on this, one experiences the serenity of water and feeling the tranquility found in nature. The artist, Dakota Daetwiler, is so talented beyond measure and we are honored to have her share her art with us through Diamond Art Club renderings. Absolute favorite!
