This painting is HUGE, but certainly worth the end result. I spent 4 months working on it.
I took off one star because I did not like the rendering of the lake where it meets the snow. I don't feel that a large block of pink was the correct choice. The pink takes away from the flames there and doesn't reflect the art well. I wanted to change it, but I had already placed most of the diamonds down and after 4 long months, I just wanted to be done and kept it as rendered. I think a better choice could have been made for the rendering.
Other than that, the art is beautiful and I'm happy to have completed it.

I LOVE pops of red in my canvases especially when they are gorgeous cardinals. The colors are beautiful and you can almost smell the fire crackling by the cabin. So excited to complete and hang for next winter!!
