I love the texture portion of the new tip. It's not as hard to twist but it's never going to be totally easy because I use putty. Might try wax with this tip and see.
I git a few of these they are great!
I have the original pen tip, and the original screw in version and using the textured tip is SO much easier, plus it stays firm in the screw tip, unlike the original which tended to work loose often.
This tip is so much easier to turn than the others. Thanks DAC.

I absolutely love DAC's stainless steel tips! I was very excited when they released a SS top for the Twist & Pick pens, but they outdid themselves with this upgrade! The textured part makes it so much easier to twist more putty/wax out!

Much better! Still wish it came with the putty pusher. If you lose it. You are out of luck. Can’t be replaced apparently.
