After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

This one was so beautiful oh my goodness. The detail is amazing and the sparkles are in all the right places. I wish I could do it over again for the first time
All I can think of all day is I can't wait till I get home to work on this
This piece was absolutely beautiful. The aurora borealis drills blended perfectly and shined beautifully. I loved working on this piece and would recommend this artwork.
