After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I have been waiting for this Diamond Art Canvas to be restocked. The artist Dakota Daetwiler is number one to no one. I am going to be embellishing this canvas and doing this one for a friend of mine who is an excellent lawyer for children primarily. I have not started this canvas as of yet due to I am still waiting for the embellishments to arrive to me.
