After graduating from Minneapolis Community College and spending eight years as a commercial artist for Honeywell, Kim realized it was time to go freelance with his own unique style. This design reminds me of the many nights I’ve witnessed the northern lights in northern Minnesota. This canvas brings me back to those treasured nights. The clean, crisp air. Those vivid colors in the night sky, once in a lifetime experience. These colors are perfect and can’t wait to hang it in my cabin.

This piece spoke to me. I lost my German Shepherd to cancer last May, and the night she passed, I saw the aurora borealis for the first time in my life! It was like she was making the heavens glow and telling me everything was going to be alright. She was also terrified of fire, but loved camping 🔥. Her first boat ride was in a canoe. So needless to say this was a must have for me. I will be framing this!
The canvas itself was very detailed! About 23 colors in 2 plastic squares, confetti heavy.
I added some special drills to enhance the fire/moon and the stars.
