Nene began her professional career as a watercolorist in 1994. She was soon approached by Wizards of the Coast and hired to contribute work to the collectible card game “Magic: The Gathering”. Several years later, she branched out on her own as a print artist, experimenting with digital art and painting only the things she wanted to paint. She finds inspiration for from a variety of sources, but the vast majority comes from a story she has been working on since high school. “The Zarryiostrom”, her most intensely personal project, is an epic fantasy series that she tricked her poor, unwitting husband, Steven Plagman, into writing. All told, there will be nine books in the series, each containing 20 paintings by Nene.

I love NeNe Thomas and this painting is so pretty. I have a few of her paintings around my home. This is a beautiful addition to them. The canvas is velvety soft and the diamonds are colorful and sparkly. This one is a must if you love this artist!

A big, scary dragon getting his picture drawn!! I love the subject and the idea of it all. There was a mix of color blocking and confetti. The dragon had a lot of confetti, but that's totally expected. I adore this one.

Wieder mal ein super Bild von DAC.
Die Steine waren -wie immer- top und die Leinwand eh spitze.
Hab mir erlaubt, beim Augen des Drachens statt der Fairydust Steine Kristallsteine einzusetzen. Finde dadurch hat das Auge mehr...nunja...Intensität.
Alles in allem hat es Spaß gemacht an diesem Bild zu Arbeiten !
