Elisabeth Alba grew up in Pennsylvania, Florida and New York City, where she earned a master’s degree at the School of Visual Arts. She works traditionally with ink, watercolor, and acryla gouache, creating works focused on fairy tales, fantasy, and historical subjects. Now based in Western Massachusetts, she shares a studio with her husband, illustrator Scott Murphy.

I am a Harry Potter fan and I wanted some thing that was different to the obvious Harry Potter look and I seen this cat with a wand I was like yes I have to have it and I’m so glad I did it’s beautiful and I love it I don’t want to finish as I enjoy it but I want to keep going and have it hanging up
