Joelle holds a BFA in Illustration/Visual Design from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouths School of Visual & Performing Arts. She is passionate about creating challenging puzzle compositions and painting in miniature. She is inspired by the 16th century Dutch still life painters and the Art Nouveau Movement. Joelle and her family, including a terrier named “Polly,” make their home and studio in Johnston, Rhode Island.

This was my 1st DAC and my 3rd canvas overall. When I thought I would get overwhelmed with confetti, there was a section of colour blocking. I enjoyed working on it.

This kit reminds me of my mom, who loved butterflies. All the butterflies are so vivid and beautiful. I will be hanging this one in my foyer in the spring.
