This was both my first ever Diamond Art Club kit AND my first kit with square diamonds.
I just feel in love with this image as soon as i saw it online, as I just love a good afternoon nap (and do get some of my best dreams then too) As soon, as I saw him, I knew I needed to do him and hang him next to my bed. And he's just so cute too!
I am very new to diamond art painting, having just done two cheapy kits before I decided to try Diamond Art Club. I'd heard so many good things about them that I had to try it for myself. I knew before starting that the quality would be better but I was blown away by HOW much better it actually is.
The canvas immediately flattened itself out and its stayed that way. I STILL can't get the creases out of the canvases of the two kits I bought elsewhere, even after months of trying. That is huge for me, as I plan to frame my work,
The colours of the diamonds are absolutely beautiful. They also have a lot more shine to them than the other two kits I had.
I had also never seen an AB before this kit, and I am in love with them by now and it would be hard to go back to non-AB images. I am also totally in love with square drills too now, which I much prefer.
There is no way to show the beauty the ABs bring to the image, my camera will not at all capture it But the gold in the goldfish and the letters is actually a very beautiful metallic looking gold, that has reflections of all the colours of the rainbow, The white in the mice…

The kit quality is outstanding. Despite the canvas's large size, i was able to complete it quickly. A clever combination of colour blocking and confetti patterns.

I got this kit as a birthday present from my brother with the idea that he would get it when I finished the picture.... as of today I just have the upper right background to do. My present was that I got to do something that I really enjoy for hours and hours LOL ....
