To say I love this kit is an understatement, it's my favorite yet! It is the absolute perfect balance of color-blocking and confettii, and I never once had a boring moment.
It is a large kit, but because it's a landscape (short but wide), I feel this is easily workable by beginners to the craft, so long as you know you enjoy square drills.
That being said, there are a few hiccups to my journey, but I don't feel like they take away from my enjoyment of the kit enough to bring down the rating at all.
- There were the dreaded pink lines on the canvas from the cover being placed on the wrong way. For most areas, this didnt matter. However a close inspection on the large color-blocks of white drills shows a bit of pink between the drills - despite me using a white gel pen to paint over the lines. Ultimately, this is not an issue at a viewing distance, and more of an annoyance while you're working.
- The glue had lost a bit of stick in some areas. Not many areas, just one corner. Likely from the adjusting of the cover sheet. Again, not enough of an issue to make drills fall off the canvas.
- The charting on her face is gray in the highlights. I feel this de-saturates her face, as opposed to using a bright tan or beige or even white. So I changed it, with the plenty leftover drills in other colors used on her face. This comes down to personal preference.
