The reason I'm only giving a four star is simply is hard to twist no grip and is really difficult to twist round. I had to empty the chamber of the preloaded putty as it was rock solid but now I've put in fresh putty works better still difficult to twist. For the pen itself it looks stunning and I prefer the shorter length. It also is the perfect weight. Highly recommended but invest in DAC textured twist and pic placer.
This is the second one I have bought. I like the slim point, easy to see where you are placing and not having to refill all the time.
I purchased this model pen, and when I received it, the single placer was at an odd angle. When I checked it out, the threaded area was drilled at a range, not straight in as it should have been. This makes it very difficult to use. It needs to be replaced.
I didn’t know what twist and pick pens were until I got one in my DAC order. I loved the one that came with the kit so much, I had to buy this premium twist and pick. It’s so much more convenient than using wax the traditional way.

Love this color, it just shimmers! The fit is perfect. I wish DAC would add putty/wax refills for this type of pen.

LOVE DAC’s shorter pens - they’re the perfect length and width for my small hands. While the twist & pick single placer isn’t my fav (I personally prefer glue dots that can’t work in this twist up style), the pen itself is just so gorgeous. If you enjoy literally anything else but glue dots in your single placer (ex: putty, wax), then you’ll love this pen.
I love these sparkly twist and pick pens! And this silver one goes perfectly with some of the wintery scenes I did this year. I can't recommend these pens enough!
