I took a break from diamond painting for a few years and am regretting choosing such a large image with lots of dark colours, colour blocking and square drills for my comeback 🙊 I've worked away for more than 25 hours and I'm still less than halfway through. If you're a beginner or are not looking for something so time-consuming, steer clear!
I agree with some people's comments that the skin tone on the fairy is orange/a bit off. It doesn't look like that in the rendering, so I wouldn't 100% trust that the rendering on the website is what the piece is going to look like when completed.
As usual, the quality from DAC is fantastic. However, I purchased and completed two kits from this website years ago which I was more impressed by. This was before all the fancy things like the collector's card and pre-cut stickers were introduced. Although the projects were smaller, I found them to be rendered better. They looked less cross-stitchy and were more "clear". That could also be because the images had less going on and were less "busy". 🤷🏻♀️
It would be nice if something could be done about the sticky border around the image, I'm not a fan and I've found washi tape has its own downfalls, even the über expensive tape from DAC!
Also, it would be fantastic if DAC could start including something to hang up finished pieces, even as an add-on purchase on the site!

This diamond painting is so beautiful but difficult since there are 60 colors and so much confetti. But it was so enjoyable and the final result is turning out so beautifully.

I had such a good time with this one! There was an excellent variation of color, and it looks great both up-close and from afar. Ivy Dolamore is one of my favorite artists on Diamond Art Club, and I wish her stuff restocked faster!
