Growing up in the mid-west, Ruth adored pouring over books about Gods and heroes and going on camping trips with her family. After earning an art degree, getting married and trying a career in the role-playing industry as an illustrator, she realized that “playing it safe” was just not for her. So, she squashed her love of fantasy, art, camping and horses into a new career at Renaissance Festivals and a remarried an Aussie she met through an MMORPG. I am working on The Druid right now, i love it! So much fun, a lot of confettis, i enjoy confettis very much!
This was so much fun to do. It took me forty-four days to complete, and I have to say he turned out beautiful. With the animals around him...especially the wolf at his feet, just stunning! I will say that out of fifty-five colors, the vast number of drills were clumped together. Since I don't have a grinder, I used two little green trays to separate them. They worked fine. I'm not saying this was bad, just a small irritant. Has anyone else had this problem with the drills? Will it stop me from diamond painting, no it will not! I love Diamond Art Club and have already purchased another painting, and also waiting for another to come back in stock. I'll grab that one as soon as I'm notified. I also hope Ruth Thompson does a painting of a Druid woman. That would be awesome!

I loved doing this DP .He turned out so beautiful with the wolf and fox and bird I also think there was 2 dragons in each corner.
I love this painting, so beautiful, i love the style, the animals surrounding him, he looks powerful, and so much fun to work on. If you like confettis, you have it. Not to many 310 😊
