This is my first ever DAC project and it does not disappoint! The tools provided are exactly what you need, and every piece is insanely high quality, from the fabulously sticky wax, to each brilliant drill. Everything is clearly made with satisfaction and longevity in mind.
I'm only about halfway completed, and the painting is already stunning. It comes alive as you progress, with rich colors and beautiful ABS drills that appear to literally glow on the canvas. It incorporates so many hues and shades that even though this particular painting appears to be mostly neutral tones, it's never dull using all the subtle shifting colors to create seamless edges and deep shadows, true to the artist's breathtaking original work. The digitization of this art is incredible and so well done.
Though quite large, the project never feels daunting or tedious. With a perforated cover sheet that let's you take it in smaller chunks, and expertly planned drill mapping, every section presents new and interesting challenges that hold the imagination and focus throughout the entire process.
The quality and attention to detail shown by DAC on this and many other pieces truly has no equal. The finished pieces glimmer and gleam like no other. They are worth every second of time, and every cent invested. These are crafts elevated to keepsakes, if I ever saw it!
