After a fire burned down her first gallery in Fortuna, CA and Covid closed the second in nearby Ferndale, Ms. Daetwiler packed up her family and moved to Maine. There, with her nine chickens and a dog, she paints things the way she sees them, creating windows into other worlds through imaginative storytelling. She is a self taught artist whos work often contains hidden elements and a twist or two if you look closely.

I love it but it taking so long to finish I started June 22 , 2024 and it’s October 17 th .i keep losing diamond s I wish it came in round because they are constantly popping .I now hate square diamonds because of THIS painting .But over overall this is a beautiful painting .im just burnt out doing it and it list it’ stickiness tacky .so I use Modge pudge clear acrylic sealer or I use Ami wax Polyacrylic crystal clear topcoat clear gloss .i even use wet wipes to get back the loss of stickyness like YouTubers suggest .but yeah I don’t like that it only comes square .i wish this was round .
