Born in England and raised in the US, Ms. Maday’s career began at fourteen as a scientific illustrator for the University of Florida. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Ringling College of Art and Design and worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc. before moving to Colorado to start a family and expand her artistic career.

Thank you DAC for carrying something for us desert dwellers. I love all of the colors of the different succulents and of course Jane Maday always has some wildlife (sometimes hidden) to discover, which this one does in the birds and butterflies! So pretty!
